Can't connect to source

I have built an OLE DB Connection string using the "Edit" button on the Source Connection screen. I am able to test this connection while in the Edit dialog and it works.

When I go back out to Source Connection and use the pull down on "Table, View, or Synonym", nothing happens. This is not a permissions issue on the database; userid being used can see everything.

If I click in the OLD DB Connection String box again I will get an error message "Source connection cannot be opened"

Do you have an idea what I am doing wrong? .NET 4.5 is installed. Have tried multiple databases, multiple database types, and multiple connection methods.

I've check the issue in source code.
It's happen if you created connection with specific user name and password.
After exit from "Data Link Properties" window - fix connection string with following steps:
1) Delete fragment: Integrated Security="";
2) Add (e.g. at the end of string): Password=XYZ;
Obviously, change XYZ to your password :)

Resolved with changeset 29535: Added an alternative method of connection.
Added new a comparison method of columns
